Vincent Amponsah is an experienced Banker, Business Management Consultant, and Trainer with over 16 years of experience in school management, financial planning, budgeting, and capacity building. He supports private basic schools in strengthening administration, improving financial sustainability, and enhancing school performance.
Vincent and his Organization (Eduplus Educational Services and Consultancy) have trained over 3,500 private schools in Ghana and Kenya. His work equips school owners, administrators, and managers with practical tools for leadership, financial discipline, budgeting, planning, record-keeping, and operational efficiency.
Vincent is widely recognised for his hands-on approach to training and consultancy. He combines deep sector knowledge with practical experience to help schools identify challenges, build stronger management structures, and adopt best practices that promote growth and long-term sustainability. He is passionate about empowering school leaders to run their institutions professionally while maintaining high educational standards.
His expertise lies in private school leadership, educational entrepreneurship, and institutional sustainability. For over a decade, he has served as the lead trainer for the IDP Rising Schools Program (an innovative program that supports low-fee private schools, co-created by IDP Foundation, Chicago, and Sinapi Aba, Ghana). He has also trained and spoken at national and regional conferences of the Ghana National Association of Private Schools for many years.
His international engagements include delivering presentations and speaking at international conferences. Prominent among these were presentations on sustainability in edupreneurship at an AFOS Foundation stakeholder workshop in Abuja, Nigeria, and on affordable private schools and SME lending at the Sanabel Conference in Casablanca, Morocco. He also served as a panellist and speaker at the Enterprising School Symposium in Hyderabad, India, among others.
